Brainstorm Design Challenge No.2

Design challenge for Brainstorm this week. Military crossed with dinosaur bones. Was fun coming up with ideas for this. I settled on this concept, an off world sniper stationed on some sort of prehistoric desert planet. Going for months at a time in isolation behind enemy lines, he uses his training, oftentimes scavenging to stay alive. That's basically the story behind this character so I hope that reads in the final piece

Brainstorm

Here are 2 pieces for a design challenge hosted by Brainstorm. I did the first one quick last night and hated it so started again this afternoon. It's crazy how much faster you can learn when your work is put up alongside the best in the business.

Busy with commissions/Job hunting/portfolio prep so havn't been able to post much this week. Did these quick colour studies yesterday as a warm up for illustration work.
